Junior 9 Cup: Mossley V 4 South Antrim IV 2 Final

Mossley Women 5th XI and South Antrim 4th XI met in the final of the Junior 9 Cup at Stormont on a damp and cool Saturday morning.

South Antrim took the lead in the first quarter with Harriet McCann finding the net after 11 minutes to give South Antrim a 0 – 1 lead. Despite both sides creating chances that’s how it stayed until half time.

Mossley took a decisive lead in the third quarter with Jo Fox getting their first goal 2 minutes after the restart to take the score to 1 – 1.
