Forster Cup: Ballyclare III 27 Ballynahinch IV 6 Final

Ballyclare 3rd XV beat Ballynahinch 4th XV 27-6 in the Forster Cup Final on Saturday 8th April 2023 at the Cloughan.

The match was a close one, with Ballyclare taking the lead after just 7 minutes when Jack Goudy scored bundled over from a lineout maul for the opening try and a 5 – 0 lead.

Ballyclare’s Jack Goudy is awarded the opening try in the Forster Cup Final at the Cloughan between Ballyclare 3rd XV and Ballynahinch 4th XV on Saturday 8th April 2023. He’s in there somewhere!

Ballyclare continued to make the most of their chances and they scored their second try 12 minutes later with Gary Clotworthy running a good line to cross out wide and finish close to the posts for Rhys Cobain to convert the try to make it 12 . . .
