Sunday lunchtime saw the visit of Banbridge to The Dub to play Queens II in a Women’s Championship Group 2 fixture.

Playing with the wind, Banbridge quickly established themselves in the Queens 22. After 12 minutes Adele Buller drove over for the games opening try a 5-0 Banbridge lead. This was doubled on 9 minutes, when Kerrianne Parr took a quick 5 metre penalty & crashed over for a 10-0 lead.
Queens stemmed the tide but though they kept their line intact they couldn’t make progress trying to run the ball out of defence and were pegged back.
