We caught up with the Ulster Hockey Linden Cup Final between Raphoe and CIYMS mens sides in the Linden Cup Final at Cookstown High School on Sunday afternoon.
Having been impressed by Raphoe the couple of times I’ve caught up with them this season I expected this to be a comfortable win for the Intermediate League leaders but CI had other ideas as they took the game to them in the opening quarter.
The Belfast side made their pressure count with a well taken strike from Frazer McKane on the 14th minute to give CI a 0 – 1 lead as the teams went into the second quarter.
