Our big match on Saturday was the Junior 1 table top clash between Ards II’s and Pegasus II’s at Londonderry Park.
I’ve been following both these sides for a month or two as they swapped places at the top of Junior 1, some distance clear of the rest of the teams, and I’ve been looking forward to this clash for a while now.
Unfortunately the game fell a little short of expectations, with a few Pegasus players called up to their 1st XI due to an injury crisis, and it ended up a fairly comfortable win for the slick Ards team. However it was a lively enough game from both sides and there is a big gallery with stacks of great photos at the bottom of the page.
