Monday afternoon saw the semi final of the Bannister Bowl, at Deramore Park, when Methodist College welcomed Banbridge Academy. The Bannister Bowl is for the Under 13 Age Group and is played over 2 x 25 minute halves.
In Banbridge, Methody came up against a well drilled, physically dominant side, who closed them down and stopped them playing. Banbridge were relentless in attack, controlling midfield and only allowing the occasional Methody foray into their half.
Banbridge led 4-0 at halftime, with goals from Harvey McBride, 8 mins, Daniel McKee, 11 mins, Owen Dobson, 18 mins and Callum McComb, 22 minutes.
