We caught up with the Medallion Plate semi final between Ballyclare High School and Royal School Dungannon at Rashee Road on Saturday morning.

Dungannon had a strong first half with Ross Hewitt crossing after three minutes to give Dungannon a 0 – 5 lead.

Hewitt crashed over again eight minutes later, in much the same spot to push the score out to 0 – 10 in Dungannon’s favour and the visitors crossed for a decisive third try before half time with James Gibson converting his own try to give Dungannon a 0 – 17 lead at the break.
