On Saturday evening in Match Three of the Celtic Challenge, Combined Provinces took on the Scottish Thistles, at Kingspan Stadium.

Leah Tarpey opened Combined Provinces scoring

Provinces hit their straps early, with backs & forwards combining to send Leah Tarpey over beside the posts in 4 minutes. Dannah O’Brien’s conversion put Provinces 7-0 up.

Play fluctuated between halves, before Provinces struck again. From a 5 metre scrum Claire Bennett hit a pass hard & crashed over, under the posts, after 18 minutes. O’Brien added the points & Provinces were 14-0 up.
