The Ulster U18 girls went into the U18 Interprovincial Final at UCD with the hopes of a clean sweep by the Ulster age grade sides still on the cards for this season.
It was the first time I’ve covered the U18’s this season and the first time at a hockey Interprovincial final but, despite the jeopardy of a close match, it was a bit of an uneventful game as both sides cancelled each other out for the first three quarters.
