U16 High School Cup: Craigavon Senior High 43 Ballyclare Secondary 0 Final

We caught up with Craigavon Senior High and Ballyclare Secondary in the U16 High School (Pollock) Cup early Wednesday afternoon at a cold and damp Meadowbank stadium.

Fortunately the drizzle had stopped by the time the match kicked off, replaced by low winter sunlight which restricted photography to the end with the sun behind me.

Craigavon got off to the best of starts with their full back, Dylan Adamson, running in two tries, which he converted himself, to give the High a 14 – 0 lead in less than ten minutes.

Craigavon Senior High’s Dylan Adamson was our Player of the Match after his two early tries and excellent kicking.

It got worse for Ballyclare when a mix up in their own 22 ended with Craigavon’s out half Samuel Ruddell scoring.
