Senior Cup: Royal School Armagh 2 Methodist College 0 Quarter Final

It was an early start on saturday morning with an hour drive to Armagh for a 9:30 pass back between Royal School Armagh and Methodist College Belfast in the quarter final of the Schoolgirls Senior Cup.

The game started in a heavy mist and defending champions Methodist College knew they had a stiff test ahead against a Royal School side featuring many recent graduates of the All Ireland Junior Cup Championship winning team.

However, the Belfast side were caught on the hop with an early goal from Armagh as Grace McCool netted an early cross from the base line by Ellie Edwards to take the score to 1 – 0 after 5 minutes.
