Schools 3XV Cup: Ballyclare High 11 Methodist College 51

I caught up with the Schools 3XV Cup Quarter Final match between Ballyclare High and Methodist College on Wednesday afternoon at Rashee Road.

Unfortunately the match was stopped for an extended time, and moved to another pitch, due to an injury, requiring an ambulance, to one of the Ballyclare players so I’m a bit lacking on the match details.

Ivan Songcuan opened the scoring for Methody.

The match was fairly even up until the injury with Methodist College leading 8 – 0 thanks to a try from Ivan Songcuan and a Matthew Sturgess penalty.

Ballyclare went over for a try after the pitch relocation and they continued to create chances throughout the game but they just lacked the continuity to finish them off and Methody extended their lead to 5 – 20 at . . .
