We caught up with The Royal School Armagh and Lurgan College for their Medallion Shield Match on Saturday morning in Armagh.
The home side showed total dominance from early on with two tries initially ruled out for infringements before Armagh’s No 5, Starrett crashed over to open the scoring, the conversion going wide.
No sooner had the match restarted than Armagh went further ahead with No 8 Dougan breaking away in his own half and running the length of the field to touch down under the posts, Kennedys conversion taking the score to 12 – 0.
Mid way through the half Armagh were over again, this time No 13 Seweryn running round the back again to score under the posts for Kennedy to convert. 17 – 0
