Tuesday lunchtime was mild, there was even sunshine, for the postponed 4th round Medallion Shield tie between Dromore High School and Larne Grammar School at Barban Hill.
Dromore had possession and territory in the first 25 minutes of the game, played mostly between the Larne 22 and halfway line, but were unable to turn this into points. On their first visit to the Larne 22 they were held up in goal.

Eventually on 25 minutes Dromore ran back a Larne kick up field and found space on the left for Robert Russell to run round a scrambling Larne defence to score close to the posts. Luke Dillon’s conversion gave Dromore a 7 – 0 lead.
