I caught up with the rearranged Medallion Shield match between Ballyclare High School and The Royal School Armagh at Ballyclare on Tuesday afternoon.
Ballyclare got off to a good start with early pressure yielding a penalty, converted by Harry Thompson on the third minute. Unfortunately, for the home side, Armagh pretty much took control of the first half after that point.

The visitors applied pressure in the Ballyclare red zone from the restart and 3 minutes later second row Findlay Starrett had them in front, powering over for the opening try from close range. Armagh’s full back added the conversion to give the visitors a 3 – 7 lead.
