We caught up with a top three clash in the Men’s Intermediate League as the PSNI and Portrush look to chase down top of the table Raphoe.
I was a little late in getting to this one due to an overrun in my schools match but the game was only a couple minutes old and the score was still O – 0 when I took up my position.
Portrush looked to be applying the early pressure and it was somewhat against the run of play when the PSNI tooki a 1 – 0 lead into the second quarter by virtue of a penalty corner strike from Adam Marshall.

The PSNI had the better of the second quarter but it remained goalless and the teams turned . . .
