Cooke women’s 2nd team welcomed Ophir women to Shaws Bridge on the Sunday afternoon for the opening round of the Ulster Rugby Womens Junior Cup.
Cooke dominated from the start with Jodie Shannon getting the opening try after 10 minutes to give Cooke a 5 – 0 lead.

Shannon crossed again for her 2nd try 13 minutes later but Ophir were able to reply within a few minutes with Cindy Cancino crossing the line. Megan Finney added the extras to take the score to 10 – 7 in Cooke’s favour.
