We caught up with our first Men’s Junior 1 Match on Saturday as Cyril Boyd visited Lagan College for Annadale II v Mossley II.
With both teams trying to move away from the bottom of the league table, there was a close contest in prospect.
The visitors surprised Annadale with an early goal from Mark Lee who went through the defence, rounded the keeper and slotted home for the first score.
It jolted Annandale into action and almost immediately they went upfield, won a penalty corner for Adam Dowds to drill home the equaliser.
Constant home pressure eventually won another corner and it was that man, Dowds who repeated his earlier success. ‘Dale were ahead at the end of the first . . .
