On Sunday Ulster U18 Girls travelled down to the National Sports Centre, at Abbottsown, Co Dublin to take on rivals, Munster U18 Girls in the final round robin game of this year’s U18 Girls Interprovincial Championships. Munster had won their 3 previous games. Ulster needed to win to progress to the play offs.

Ulster’s Ellie Edwards breaks through in midfield

Knowing that a win was necessary, Ulster pressed immediately, & were rewarded when Ulster Captain, Gabby Scott, struck the opening goal after 6 minutes. Play was end to end, with both keepers tested, but there was no further scoring. Ulster led 1-0 at halftime.
