On Sunday Ulster U16 Girls travelled down to the National Sports Centre, at Abbottsown, Co Dublin to take on rivals, Munster U16 Girls in the final round robin game of this year’s U16 Girls Interprovincial Championships.

Ulster went on the front foot, from push back. Spreading the ball wide and moving Munster defenders around, they quickly found space and put Katie Herron in for an opening goal after 4 minutes. The same tactics paid dividends on 9 minutes, when Herron claimed her 2nd goal.
Ulster held a 2-0 1st quarter lead.
