On Saturday morning Enniskillen Royal Grammar School travelled to Newtownards to play Regent House in the Group E Schools Cup tie.

Playing into a stiff breeze, Enniskillen pinned Regent back and took the lead in the 3rd minute, when Ben McClaren crossed in the left corner. Tadhg Hambly’s conversion, into the wind, put Enniskillen 7 – 0 up.

A further period of Enniskillen pressure ensued but they couldn’t convert it into scores.

Regent broke out and Jude McKenna was on the end of a sweeping move to score in the right corner after 26 minutes and move the score to 7 – 5.
