On Thursday afternoon Our Lady and St Pats faced Bangor Academy in a Schools Bowl Qualifying Tie at Stormont. Our Lady’s knew that facing the present Group Leaders, would be a daunting task.
Bangor attacked from kick off and when Ethan McGrogan latched on to the end of a cross kick after 3 minutes, Bangor went 5-0 up.
The score doubled on 10 minutes when James Montgomery drove over to put Bangor 10-0 up.
A brace of McGrogan tries, after 18 and 23 minutes, one converted by Jonah Topping, put Bangor firmly in the driving seat at 22 – 0, with a bonus point.
