On Sunday, at lunchtime, Malone hosted Dungannon in an Ulster Women’s Premiership League fixture, at Gibson Park. Unbeaten Malone looked favourites for this clash.
Jill Stephens opened the scoring for Malone after 7 minutes. Pieta McAllister’s conversion made it 7-0.
Though Dungannon had possession, they found it hard to get out of their ‘22’. The same combination of Stephens and McAllister took Malone out to 14-0 on 17 minutes.
