I caught up with a Girls U18 League fixture on Sunday afternoon at Gibson Park as the merged might of Carrick, Larne, Malone and Ophir took on the furious fusion of Armagh, Banbridge and Newry or CLOM and NAB for Short.
After a delayed start CLOM were the first to score with Ruby Starrett finishing off a period of pressure on the NAB line.
NAB hit back 11 minutes later with Beth McBurney scoring after CLOM failed to clear their line and with Emily Dickson adding the extras NAB took a 5 – 7 lead.
