On Saturday, Cooke entertained Clogher Valley in an All Ireland Junior Cup Quarter Final tie at Shaw’s Bridge. Clogher brought a large vociferous crowd with them, for support. Given they are top of the league, unbeaten in Championship 1 and that they are the current Junior Cup holders, Clogher were favourites but Cooke took it to them in this game.

Cooke piled in from kick off and Ian Moxen burrowed over for an opening try and a 5-0 lead on 6 minutes.
Clogher replied when Taine Haire ran round, on the left, before dotting down, midway out. David Maxwell converted to give Clogher a 5 – 7 lead.
