Schools Friendly: Ballyclare High 50 Belfast High 19

We had another look at Belfast High this weekend as they travelled to the Rashee Road for a 1st XV friendly against Ballyclare High on saturday morning.

We sent our tactical expert Cara along to this one to have a look at Belfast High, after their big win against Bangor last weekend. Unfortunately for the Belfast side they were somewhat steamrollered by Ballyclare’s Tom McAllister who powered over for three tries on the opening quarter. Joel Flynn converted all three to give the home side a 21 – 0 lead.

Tom McAllister scored a first half hat trick for Ballyclare.

Belfast’s Joey Ashby pulled one back before the half hour mark but there was still time for Ballyclare to score two more before the break with Neil McCrea and Finn Lutton crossing to take the score . . .
