We caught up with the Ulster Schools Bowl Qualifier between Wellington College and Our Lady and St Pats, Knock, on a wet and dark Wednesday afternoon at Carolan Road.
The match kicked off ahead of schedule and Wellington were quick off the mark with prop Jamoi Rush barging over for the opening try after 2 minutes.

With the conditions ranging from a light drizzle to a heavy downpour there were a few handling errors and OLSP were able to take advantage to work the ball downfield for Thomas McCusker to spot a gap off the back of a ruck and sprint clear to finish up under the posts for a converted try to take the score to 5 – 7 after minutes.
