We caught up with the first half of Cooke II’s against Randalstown in the Ulster Women’s Championship on Sunday afternoon at Shaw’s Bridge.
Cooke enjoyed the bulk of territory and possession in an attritional first half but they were unable to find a way through the resolute Randalstown defence.

The visitors began to grow into the game and on the half hour mark an upfield break saw some quick thinking from Megan Mackintosh who spotted space on the right at a ruck to sprint clear and score the opening try.
