Our Academy player Ruby, caught with Dromore at Ballyclare for their Championship 1 match on Saturday afternoon.

Before the game, Ballyclare were in second place in the Championship with 6 wins from seven outings and Dromore were in fourth place with 5 wins from seven so we were expecting this to be close.

Despite the one sided scoreline the match was fairly even, Ballyclare were able to finish off their chances and Dromore weren’t.

There was only one score in a tight first half, Ballyclare’s full back Mark Jackson claimed all the points with a try and conversion before the break to give the home side a 7 – 0 lead at the interval.
