On Sunday, at lunchtime, Pegasus faced off against league leaders Catholic Institute, in an All Ireland Hockey League clash at The Dub, Upper Malone. It was raining, when I got out of my car and it was still raining, when I returned, only the intensity varied.

In a scoreless 1st half, defences cancelled out attacks, though keepers were troubled. Gradually Institute began to apply pressure and close Pegasus down in midfield. In the 2nd quarter Pegasus created a couple of chances from open play but had to survive a late barrage of penalty corners from Institute.
The 3rd quarter went the way of the 1st half, scoreless, with robust defences, on top.
