After al these years I didn’t think that the 2nd XV League was a thing, but it seems to have been revived this season with the Championship Conferences done away with. Anyway, with 2 of our Member Clubs playing each other we sent Cara McLean along for the photos. and report.
Queen’s got off to a bright start with Finn Ritchie scoring after 5 minutes but in a close first half we had to wait another 30 minutes for the next score.
It was that man Ritchie that scored again for the students, five minutes before half time, this one converted by Will Cusack to give Queen’s a 12 – 0 lead at the break.
