Women’s Friendly: North Down Welcome Ballynahinch and Queen’s to Ards RFC

On Thursday we caught up with a combined training session hosted by North Down Women’s team at Ards RFC with players from Queen’s University and Ballynahinch joining the hosts.

The night began with the teams units split, working on forwards and backs moves before they competed in at 40 minute game. After a year of tracking her performance stats, we put one of our Academy girls, Cara McLean, into the session along with Queen’s to give her some much needed game time.

Our other Academy player Ruby Starrett who has been getting game time with Ulster U18 girls was also there to report.
