Provincial Premier 1: Carrickfergus II 12 Clogher Valley II 62

We caught up with the provincial Premier Division 1 match between Carrickfergus 2nd XV and Clogher Valley 2nd XV at Tom Simms Memorial Park on Saturday afternoon.

As the scoreline suggests it was a game pretty much dominated by the visitors who opened the scoring after 8 minutes with a try from Adam Boles, converted by Neil Trotter.

Clogher on the attack in the first half.

Carrick hit back with an unconverted try from Jack McKillen but from then on it was all Clogher Valley with Andrew Johnston, Jason Bothwell, Cornel Michem and Mark McKenna all crossing before the break. Trotter converted three to take it to 33 – 5 at the break.
