We caught up with the All Ulter match in the Women’s EYHL as Belfast Harlequins welcomed Ards to Deramore Park on Saturday afternoon.
The home team started brightly and deservedly took the lead early on with a great sliding deflection at the far post by No 8, Susie McCollum.
Ards didn’t panic and gradually took the play upfield , coming close on a couple of occasions until at last No 7, Ali Carson put them back on level terms with a near post shot which the keeper couldn’t deal with.
