On Saturday Grosvenor made the short journey to Shawsbridge to play Cooke in the Ulster Championship Division 1.
Grosvenor dominated the early exchanges and took the lead, when Timmy McMullan converted a 9th minute penalty for Grosvenor to lead 3-0.
Play moved between the ‘22s’, before, after a series of forward drives, Cooke elected to take a scrum under the posts, rather than the penalty, which they’d won. Cooke drove Grosvenor backwards and in the ensuing chaos Callum Foreman touched down for Cooke’s first try. Andrew McMurray converted to give Cooke a 7-3 lead.

In the 31st minute Foreman claimed his 2nd try, when he powered over, in the left corner for an unconverted try . . .
