Over the weekend Banbridge Hockey Club hosted Dublin YM HC, Lisnagarvey HC, Cookstown HC, Uddingston HC (Glasgow) and Inverleith HC (Edinburgh) in the inaugural Belmont Cup at Havelock Park.
Saturday’s results set up Sunday’s Semi Final clashes, Cookstown HC v Dublin YM HC and Banbridge HC v Lisnagarvey HC.
In Semi Final 1 Cookstown and Dublin YM played out a very defensive game. Neither team could dominate, and attacks were snuffed out in midfield.
