On Wednesday evening Ulster U16 Boys played Wales U16 Boys in Game 1 of a 3 Match Series at Jordanstown, over Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
The sun was low cutting long shadows over the pitch by the 7.00pm ‘push back’.
Ulster took control early on, denying Wales possession and forcing them to defend from deep. It was no surprise when Ulster took the lead on 10 minutes from an Adam McKee strike, followed a couple of minutes later by a John Cunningham goal. Ulster had a very comfortable 2-0 1st quarter lead.

Ulster were relentless in the 2nd quarter, with only occasional sporadic attacks from the Welsh. Cunningham grabbed Ulster 3rd goal on 20 . . .
