We caught up with the Ulster and Wales U16 Girls sides as they played the first of a three game series at Jordanstown on Tuesday evening as they wrap up the 2021 – 22 season.
Ulster started the game cautiously, perhaps too cautiously, and Wales were able to take advantage with an early goal from Liv Forey after nine minutes.

Both sides settled to their task with a fairly even second quarter. Despite chances at each end there was no further score and the teams changed ends with Wales leading 0 – 1.
Ulster upped the tempo in the third quarter coming close with an intercept of the restart pass back. However Wales still looked dangerous going forward and a fine . . .
