Cookstown and Annadale 2nd XI’s went head to head at Havelock Park on Saturday afternoon in the showpiece Ireland Hockey Junior Cup Final.
Annadale will be wondering how they came out of this one without a goal as the game was fairly even throughout. However, Cookstown were able to make their chances count which I suppose is why they were completing a league and cup double for the season.

Cookstown took a 2 – 0 lead into the half time break after a dominant second quarter. David Atkinson opened the scoring on the 27th minute, with a strike from a penalty corner and Raymond Miller added a field goal 5 minutes later.
