Championship 2: Larne 10 Ballymoney 24

Larne welcomed Ballymoney to the Glynn for a Championship 2 clash on Saturday afternoon.

Larne started the game well with a skip and a jump from Matthew Agnew to set up a bruising run from Jack Withers but, unfortunately for the home side, that was pretty much it for the first half as Ballymoney took control.

Ballymoney’s Chris Watson went over for the opening score

Chris Watson barged over in the corner for Ballymoney’s first score after 5 minutes and 12 minutes later right wing Matthew Bell rounded the defence out wide for their second to take a 0 – 10 lead.
