Wednesday’s finals started with the eagerly anticipated clash between Strathearn School and Ballymena Academy in the 4th XI Cup.
Ballymena appeared to have the best of the first quarter but they were unable to convert their chances and Strathearn started to build their momentum over the second quarter.
Strathearn edged ahead in the keenly contested match with a goal from Emma Stranaghan who turned in a penalty corner for a 1 – 0 lead.
Ballymena threw everything . . .
