Yesterday’s U16 High Schools final was played out yesterday, at Stormont, between Dromore High School and Lagan College
Both 1st half quarters were very cagey affairs, with play bogged down in midfield, as defences stifled attacks. Neither side could break the deadlock in a scoreless 1st half.
The 3rd quarter seemed to be going the same way but in the final move of the quarter Katy Bradshaw struck the opening goal for Dromore following a penalty corner.
