Banbridge Academy and Strathearn School battled it out at Stormont Pavilion in the Senior Plate Final on Monday afternoon.

Both teams had a nervy start but Strathearn seemed to be getting on top as the first quarter progressed. However, Banbridge looked sharp on the break and they forced a penalty corner towards the end of the first quarter with captain Hannah Spence finding the net for the opening score.

Banbridge forced a second penalty corner two minutes later and Pippa Wilson got the final touch to give Banbridge a 2 – 0 lead.
