Thursday’s Medallion Trophy Semi Final was played at Barban Hill, between Dromore High School and Foyle College. A strong wind blowing straight down the pitch only worsened as the game progressed. Ultimately it would be the side that used this wind to their advantage that would claim victory.

Foyle ran the ball back at Dromore and, perhaps, in hindsight, didn’t pin Dromore back into the corners, using the wind.

Foyle breeched the Dromore defence after 15 minutes, when Oliver Allen burrowed over under the posts. Thomas Williamson
