Dromore High School and Omagh Academy met in the Ulster Schools Medallion Trophy Final at The Royal School Dungannon on Tuesday afternoon.

Dromore started the game strongly and after a period of pressure in the Omagh 22 Dromore’s Ethan McCutcheon barged over for the opening score after 7 minutes.

Omagh enjoyed the beat of the next 10 minutes and they got their reward with an excellent break by centre Harry McIlwaine finishing up under the posts, for Sam Cochrane to convert giving Omagh a 5 – 7 lead.
