Given Saturday’s weather forecast it was pleasantly dry, if windy, at Deramore Park for the EYHL clash between Belfast Harlequins and Pegasus.
Initial exchanges were even but gradually Pegasus got on top. The Quins defence held firm and it was a scoreless 1st quarter.
Pressure eventually told and Quins conceded a penalty stroke, converted by Shirley McCay.
Pegasus took a 1-0 lead into half time.
