Lisnagarvey welcomed Annadale to Hillsborough on a windy Saturday afternoon for an EYHL game, the home side determined to get a win to keep their league challenge on track.

Lisnagarvey were fast out of the blocks and it wasn’t long before they opened the scoring with a well struck shot by No 18, Matthew Nelson.

Both teams probed for weakness and generally cancelled each other out with neither goalkeeper further tested in the first quarter.
The second quarter resumed to more of the same with Annadale holding out the home attack and pressing well on occasions. The keepers did get a bit . . .
