On Saturday afternoon, Dolphin travelled from Cork, to play Queens in an AIL 2A League game at the Queens Arena.

After initial thrust by both attacks, Queens began to dominate set and loose play, starving Dolphin of possession.

The only surprise was that it took to the 23rd minute for Queens to take the lead, through a Ritchie McMaster penalty goal.
With that the dam broke and Queens scored 4 tries, on 26 minutes, Jonny Hunter, 33 minutes, Graham Curtis, 39 minutes, Hunter again and 40 minutes by Ben Heath. All were converted by McMaster, together with another penalty goal, to leave Queens leading 34-0 at halftime.

After the break, occasional forays by Dolphin into the Queens half lead to nothing.
Queen scored a further 4 tries after the break, on 50 minutes by Curtis, 65 minutes by Curtis Dundas, 70 minutes by Hunter for his hat trick and 78 minutes by David Whitten. All, but one, were converted by McMaster. The one, which missed, rebounded off an upright.
Queens deserved their 60-0 victory for their relentless attacking play and total domination.
