On Saturday Pegasus welcomed Elks to Newforge Playing Fields in the 2nd Round of the Irish Senior Cup.
Bob Given was able to take in the 1st half.
Pegasus opened the scoring on 5 minutes when Alex Speers scored after some skilful work on the right. Thereafter defences held firm leaving Pegasus with a 1-0 halftime lead.
A Lucy McKee brace in the 2nd half consolidated Pegasus’ lead to give a 3-0 victory and the dream of an All Ireland League and Cup Double are still alive for Belfast’s lean mean hockey machine!
