It was an exciting, if somewhat damp, finish to the IRFU Volkswagen Mixed Tag Tournament at Belfast Harlequins on Thursday night.
Quite a few of the results didn’t go he way of our predictions which made it all the more interesting.
Premiership – Friesian Taggers

Premiership Results
| HashTags | 19 – 16 | Friesian Taggers |
| Sheep Taggers | 19 – 7 | Tag My Pitch Up |
Powerful performances from Peter and Michael Dawson saw the HashTags inflict the only defeat on the Friesian Taggers this series. Despite the defeat the Friesians had enough points in the bag to hold on to the Premiership title on points difference.
In the other game the Sheep Taggers were on top for most of their game against Tag My Pitch Up, Connor Phillips leading the way with four tries.

Conference – Flatliners

Conference Results
| Flat Liners | 20 – 1 | Runaways |
| Tag Heuers | 22 – 11 | Derryvolgie Halss |
A comprehensive win by Flatliners against their big rivals Runaways was enough to see them home in the highly entertaining conference League. A hat trick from Louise O’Toole, including a spectacular length of the field effort, gave Flat Liners a comfortable win with Ryan Trainor (3) and Conor Gilloway (4) also amongst the scorers.
Despite nine points from Sinead Redmond and four from Benny Glendinning the Tag Heures were unable put enough distance between themselves and Derryvolgie who kept in the hunt thanks to three pointers from Anna Stanfield and Megan Henry for the second week running.
